CPLED

2017/2018 CPLED ProgramRegistration for the 2017/2018 year opens today. You can view the CPLED Program Key Dates on.lesa.org/keydates for details about when the face-to-face sessions and online modules are running.

The registration deadline is May 31, 2017. Students who do not apply by this date are subject to a non-refundable late filing fee.

Join the U of A Faculty of Law, Alberta Lawyers’ Assistance Society (Assist), and Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Assist on March 8 for a truly inspirational evening.

One of the most emergent stories in Canadian sports, six-time Olympic medalist, humanitarian, and motivator, Clara Hughes holds a distinctive vision, not only of what sport can be, but also of what it means to truly live your best life.

In her presentation, Open Heart, Open Mind, immerse yourself in Clara’s personal life-affirming story of her struggle with depression. Through physical and mental pain to a life where love and understanding can thrive, this revelatory and inspiring story is sure to touch the hearts of all attendees.

Have you heard? CPA Assist, in collaboration with Alberta Lawyers’ Assistance Society, are hosting a 3 part speaker series this year. These informative sessions on mental health and wellness feature engaging speakers and address topics that affect professionals in Alberta.

This presentation is the 2nd of the series. Speaker Amanda Lindhout, a Canadian journalist and humanitarian, talks about forgiveness, resilience, social responsibility and more in “A Story of Resilience.”
